
TRAINING
Participants are expected to attend pre-event training sessions. The training will be offered free of charge with a cycle of webinars (web seminars) and on-line courses. Please, log in to access our Resource page and the full list of the video-tutorials available. And please, remember to register to the Hackathon.
A number of dedicated free webinars will take place from April till May 2020. The webinars will publicly show how to access and exploit Copernicus data and services, which tools to use for data processing, and where to find ready-made scripts for automatic data processing and analysis. Moreover, the webinars will show examples of applications and the IT infrastructures available for the hackathon such as Rheticus®, the CreoDIAS and the Sentinel Hub.

A cycle of meetings will take place from April till May 2020 in an informal and relaxed context, to understand and deepen the opportunities that arise from the observation of the Earth and space technologies for companies, startups and enthusiasts. Recordings of the Business in Orbita meetings will be available at the event website (Italian only).
Planetek Italia established collaborations with other entities, such as GeoUniversity, online learning platform about GIS and Earth Observation, and EO College, developed by the Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena (Germany). These allow the participants of the hackathon to be able to access valuable training resources, free of charge, in the weeks preceding the event. Keep checking your Resource section for updates.
Free online tutorials, video courses and reference manuals with examples of use of cloud infrastructures are made available to support hackathon activities and application development tools. Keep checking your Resource section for updates.
